Screen Printing

Screen printing is a skill. It is a procedure whereby you distribute ink onto your chosen garment through a mesh screen made from silk. Once this has been completed the garment is dried with an industry machine specially built for the job. Only skilled workers should attempt this process, and it generally needs a purpose factory to complete the work.
There are various stages to go through from creating the artwork, producing the screens, blending the ink, preparing the machine to accept the screen, administration techniques and the drying operation.
T shirt Printing Belfast utilises screen printing for both dark and light T shirts and a range of other clothing fabrics. For the dark coloured fabrics we use two screens, one white one so that the colours show up well and one with the actual design. Our normal screens can print up to A3 size whereas our large screens can cater for designs up to A2 size images.
Prices for screen printing will depend upon the quantity of the order and the size of the images.
